MBS forms new Higher Education Partnership with the Chartered Management Institute, UK

This week Malta Business School welcomed Dr Elly Philpott, Senior Quality Manager from the Chartered Management Institute (CMI) UK, to Malta. Earlier this year, Malta Business School was approved by CMI as a Higher Education partner – the first and only CMI partner in Malta – and the Bachelor in Business and Management degree from MBS is now confirmed to have dual accreditation status. This adds tremendous value for learners throughout the programme and also after successful graduation from this programme. Graduates receive their Level 6 Bachelor degree in Malta plus a prestigious CMI Professional Diploma in Management and Leadership. Additionally, this puts MBS learners on the fast track to becoming fully fledged Chartered Managers from CMI which is the only body worldwide that can award this status, the highest recognition in the world of management and corporate leadership.

Dr Elly Philpott met with the Dean of Malta Business School Lorenzo Mule` Stagno, Head of Programmes Christine Caruana, and Academic Manager Annette Zammit to celebrate this successful approval. There were also excellent conversations about Malta Business School’s rigorous programme assessments and quality assurance procedures. Further to this, discussions about the future of this already strong partnership took place. All in all, a very fruitful and encouraging meeting culminated, with all involved feeling positive and looking forward to further exciting opportunities.
